R-BOX Pro firmware is now in our hands and you can use it to completely erase data on it. This R-BOX Pro firmware is for the android TV model that comes with 3GB of memory and 16GB of flash storage. You can also use it on 2GB RAM, 16GB model.

R-BOX Pro firmware flashing instructions are given below.
* Download firmware from here.
* Download Amlogic BootcardMaker tool for your PC from here.
* Start the app on PC and plug in a micro SD card in it. Select its drive letter and choose the firmware you just downloaded. Select the u-boot.bin. If the BIN file is by other name, rename it to u-boot.bin.
* Click on Make button.
* After that, copy other files into the root directory of micro SD card that includes archivo.zip, factory_update_param.aml, recovery.img and u-boot.bin.
* Insert the card into AMlogic SoC. Press the recovery button that is located at the bottom or insider the A/V connector and turn on the TV box. If you have done everything correctly that an Android icon will appear on the TV with percentage bar. Wait for it to reach 100 percent and it will then restart with new R-BOX Pro firmware.

Today we bring new firmware of the Zidoo X9S android TV box. This model makes use of Realtek RTD1295 SoC that competes directly with the Amlogic S912 SoC. Latter is being used in myriad android TV boxes.

Download and flashing Zidoo X9S android TV firmware

1- Download firmware from bottom of this article. unarchive the ZIP file and copy it without decompressing on a USB stick
2- connect the USB memory to Zidoo X9S
3- Let the app Update
4 Select Local Update and our file ZIP
5- apply the update and hope the device is restarted
6- All files are maintained but we recommend to reset

Problems in previous firmware

1) Some 4k vp9 videos show no picture when playback.
2) ANR problem occasionally happens when playback.
3) Connection failed when there are special characters in SSID of WIFI.
4) TV gets no signal when deep color switched to 10bit or 12bit.
5) Time of chapters are inaccuracy in some BD movies.
6) Picture flutter when there are some special video signals in HDMI IN stream.
7) Low probability of ANR problem when recording via HDMI in.

We have the official firmware of the Nexbox A5 android TV. This android TV is powered by ARM Cortex A53 64 bit chipset that runs at 1.5GHz and is backed by Mali 450mp5 GPU.

You can download the official firmware for the android TV from here. Just make sure you download it over broadband connection as it about 680 MB in size.

Before running the Setup program, you need to disable the secure signing of drivers. In windows 8, go to settings in Metro environment > Update > Recovery> Advanced Home> restart now> Troubleshooting> boot Options>  Disable the mandatory use of signed drivers.

For windows 10 – Start Menu> Settings> Update and security> Recovery> Under the option advanced Home click restart now> Troubleshooting> Options advanced> startup Settings> Reset> Press 7 or F7 for D to disable mandatory use of signed drivers. The computer will restart and you can install drivers without digital signatures.

* Hold down the button recovery and connect it to the mains of the TV-Box.

Download the MXQ-4k firmware update from here and uncompress it after download is complete. Then, copy the decompressed file in the root of a microSD card and connect the android TV-Box while it is off.
