Stock firmware is now available for download for the H96 MAX V56 android PC. This bumps up android version on H96 MAX V56 to Android 12. Flashing new firmware on the H96 MAX V56 also erases all data, so if you want to hard reset H96 MAX V56, follow the steps given below.
H96 MAX V56 latest firmware can be downloaded from here. Just to make sure you are downloading right firmware, make sure H96 MAX V56 comes with Rockchip RK3566 SoC and 8GB RAM.
Use a windows computer to download H96 MAX V56 firmware. Download rockchip driver assistant from here and rk batch tool from here. Install drivers using driver assistant app and restart your computer.
Start rk batch too. Click on firmware button and select H96 MAX V56 firmware that we downloaded earlier. Now, press reset button of H96 MAX V56 and connect to computer. Connected devices will detect your device instantly. Select restore button to start flashing process. When process finishes, a green message would appear on screen.
It will take around 10 minutes for H96 MAX V56 to boot up and that’s completely normal.
