It was quite shocking to see Thunderbolt being shipped with Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system instead of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). That said, we are happy to inform you that HTC has promised to roll out an Android 2.3 upgrade by start of the summer.
The Taiwanese phone giant has also confirmed that they will try to get most of the their (new) phones upgraded to the latest version of Android OS (including Evo 4G).
