Samsung UK has announced that the Galaxy S 2 will be made available for purchase on May 1 (2011) from all major carriers. This Android phone runs Android 2.3 operating system and comes with the Samsung’s TouchWiz UI instead of default UI.
If that did not impress you, The Galaxy S II also has 16GB of flash storage which is expandable through micro SD card slot (contrary to pitiful 4GB storage of HTC Sensation). This means that you can get up to 48GB of total storage on your phone by adding a 32GB micro SD card.
Other specs include 21Mbps HSPA+ support, Bluetooth 3.0, 2x cameras (8 mega pixel at the back, 2 mega pixel on the front), 1GB RAM, Samsung Exynos dual-core 1.2GHz processor and a 4.3 inch S AMOLED display.
