CX-R8 is an android TV that is powered by eight core Rockchip RK3368 processor. Backed by 2 gigabytes of memory, the CX-R8 has 16GB of flash storage, Gigabit LAN and dual band Wi-Fi with external antenna. It runs android 5.1.1 operating system and this firmware does away with the netflix issue that plagued current firmware.
Download and install official CX-R8 firmware

Basically, you download and install drivers and update tools on your Windows computer. You will also need a micro USB cable for connecting the android TV to the computer but before you connect the CX-R8 to PC, install driver using RK driver assistant. Then using Factory Tool, browse for the downloaded firmware and press flash button to commence flashing process.
