We have latest Android 7 firmware v2.0.4 for HiMedia Q5 Pro which is an Android TV box with HiSilicon Hi3798CV200 processor. The new updated Android nougat 7 firmware will give you excellent results while doing video playback. It is also nice to see a small company supporting its android TV. You can use this firmware to do a hard reset too since installing a fresh firmware deletes all data stored on the android TV.

Update Process
* Download the file ” update.zip “.
* Copy to the root folder of a USB stick.
* Connect memory to any port on Himedia.
* Turn off the device, with a clip press the RESTORE key.
* With the RESTORE button pressed we turn on the Himedia.
* The Android logo will appear with the update process.
* The TV Box will restart at the end.
* Restart may take 3 to 5 minutes
