X96 Mini android TV firmware is now available for download. This Android TV comes with a quad core ARM Cortex A53 processor and Mali 450mp5 GPU. This guide also lets you hard reset X96 Mini since installing new firmware on X86 Mini also deletes everything from storage and brings it to factory state. Just keep in mind that everything will be deleted on X96 Mini so make sure you have backed up anything and everything that is important to you.
Download the X96 Mini android TV firmware from here and save it on your computer.
Next, download and install AMlogic tool. This will install the necessary drivers as well. Restart the PC and run USB_Burning_tool that been installed on your PC and from the File / Import image tab, select the file . img that you have downloaded earlier. Now, we press the reset button of the device and connect with a suitable USB cable to the PC.
The flash tool must be able to recognize your android TV. Make sure not to mark «Reset after success» and «Overwrite key» options.
Press start button to start flashing process. Once flashing has been done, it will take longer than usual process for X96 Mini to start.
