In this guide we will teach you how to restore the Minix Zeo Z64 Android Edition to factory state. This can be very useful in case of disaster. There is another tool developed by Nitro Team we can also be very useful. This system works only with Minix Zeo Z64.
Requirements include a 4GB USB memory, a PC to create the boot USB drive and a keyboard. Recovery process is as follows:
We download the factory image of MINIX Z64A from here. This is a direct download link.
Then download the Win32 Disk Imager application from here.
Execute the Win32 Disk Imager application and select the file .IMG image factory as shown below. 
Click on the Write button. This will completely erase USB flash drive. So make sure you do not have anything important on it.
In MINIX Z64A, we plug in the USB flash drive and a USB keyboard. 
We start the MINIX Z64A and repeatedly press the F11 key on the keyboard. Keep pressing it until you see the boot menu option.
Select the EFI Shell option. The system will start the recovery process automatically.

When the process is finished, restart the MINIX Z64A
