We now have hold of the Beelink Mini MX android TV firmware. This is an official firmware for the Beelink Mini MX and it will allow you to factory reset. It is also great for getting new features that the new firmware might add.
Download Beelink Mini MX android firmware from here and Amlogic boot card maker tool from here. Start the app and insert the micro SD card into your computer. Choose the u-boot.bin file and click on Make button to put the firmware onto the card. Then copy the files downloaded earlier to the micro SD card.
Put the micro SD card into the Beelink Mini Mx while it is off and press the recovery button. If everything works as expected, you will a percentage bar on the screen. When it reaches 100 percent, the Beelink Mini Mx will restart with new firmware onboard.
Beelink Mini Mx specs include Mali 450 MP, Android 5.1, Amlogic S905 quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB flash storage and micro SD card that accepts up to 32GB of memory cards. Supported video formats include AVI, DAT, H.264, H.265, ISO, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, RM and WMV. Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.0 are also onboard. Box contains Beelink Mini MX TV Box, HDMI Cable, Power Adapter, Remote Control and English Manual.
