UK: Dell Streak 7

Dell has made the Streak 7 on sale in the UK now for 300 pounds. Do not let the low price tag fool you because the specs are not all that terrific. You get a WVGA display (800 x 480 pixels) packed into a 7 inch screen and runs Android 2.2 operating system which is simply not streamlined for tablets.

We are still hoping that it will eventually get the Honeycomb (same as Android 2.2 but more tablet oriented). If you do not mind the low resolution screen, it is not a bad deal for 300 pounds. After all, you are getting a machine with Nvidia Tegra 2 processor that has two cores and runs at 1GHz clock speed, has Flash plugin and Android market to make sure you have access to thousands of apps out there.
