We have a great news for the Tmobile G2 users – very soon, T-mobile will be rolling out an Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for your phones. According to our friends over Tmonews, this update should be made available ‘really soon’. So, what does this update means to you? In short, expect better battery life, some user interface improvements, better SIP (soft input panel = keyboard), and some random bug fixes.
Despite the recent influx of super duper dual core Android smartphones, the T-mobile smartphone is still a pretty decent choice. Right now, it is available with stock Android 2.2 operating system running on a 800MHz Qualcomm processor (MSM 7230).
Specs – 3.7 inch display, WVGA resolution (800 x 480 px), 1300mAh battery (9 hours talktime), quad band, micro sd card slot.
