According to BamS (Bild am Sonntag), the first Android smartphone to be launched by Samsung would be the Samsung I7500 (pictured below). It awaits a June release.
It will be available with Vodafone and will be a touchscreen-only device, with a 3.2″ HVGA capacitive screen, running on Android 1.5 (cupcake). It’s powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A CPU at 528 MHz and also sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. It would come with a 3.5 mm jack headset plug. According to some unofficial sources, I7500 will support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSPA, Bluetooth, WIFI and GPS and will have 8 GB internal flash memory which can be expanded by microSD memory cards. O2 Germany will be its exclusive distributor in Germany.
