Open ELEC is a small Linux distribution that turns your computer into a TV Box. We now have the instructions on how to install Open ELEC on the Beelink MXQ TV Box. It shall be noted that Bluetooth does not work and Wi-Fi service must be activated by hand after the configurator, from System-> OpenELEC. Again this is a development version and some things may not work properly.
Format a Micro SD card to Fat32
Download this file OpenELEC MXQ
Unzip the downloaded file in the micro SD card.
Insert the Micro SD card into the TVBox OFF.
Insert a toothpick or similar (no cash) in the AV connection of the box to notice the switch.
Press the switch with stick and hold
Turning the TV Box
Stop pushing and remove the stick when we see an image on the screen
Wait until the process ends.
