Tronsmart Orion R68 is a new TV box based on Rockchip RK3368 processor that just recently announced by the processor giant. It will be available in two versions: Pro with 1GB / 8GB WiFi 802.11n and Meta with 2GB / 16GB and WiFi 802.11ac. Rest of the Tronsmart Orion R68 specifications three USB 2.0 ports , a HDMI 2.0 , Gigabit Ethernet , Bluetooth 4.0 , an SD card reader and an output optical audio.
Tronsmart Orion R68 has a plastic frame and has shape of a square. As you can see in the picture shown above, it has a thin profile and it will look good sitting along with your TV.
Tronsmart included two SKU, Pro and Meta. The Pro comes with 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB of MMC storage and WiFi 802.11n (AP6212). The Meta specs include 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB eMMV module and WiFi 802.11ac (AP6335).
Both versions, however, will be based on the same SoC, a Rockchip RK3368 octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit clocked at 1.5 GHz and PowerVR G6110 GPU that can play video in 4K and 60fps. It comes with support for hardware decoding with H.265 codec. The installed operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipopp which will be updated from time to time via OTA.
