Pipo X8 review, a mini PC with integrated display

Pipo X8 is a crossover between a mini PC and tablet PC. There is nothing like it at the time of this post. It runs windows operating system and offers multimedia functions of a tablet in a TV box. The company will be offering an Android version of it as well. It will be called Pipo X8s. However you cannot consider it as full fledge tablet since there is no battery inside.

Priced under 100 dollars, the chassis of Pipo X8 is made of black and white polycarbonate. There is a windows button beneath the display and there are two speakers on the sides.

Specs include 7 inch display packing 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, Intel Atom Z3735F 1.8 GHz or Atom Z3736F 2.16 GHz processor backed by 2 GB of RAM DDR3L and 32GB or 64GB of flash storage. Port selection includes  four ports USB 2.0, HDMI, a SD reader and an audio jack for headphones, Wi-Fi 802.11n with a large antenna, Bluetooth 4.0 and a RJ-45 port (on the back) for wired networks.

The Pipo X8 tablet supports MPEG2, H.264, VC1, VP8 and MVC video formats and it will be made available at a price less than that of Pipo X7 which is also capable of replacing your desktop computer.
